MetaboNet is a large, unified dataset for Type 1 Diabetes research, consolidating multiple datasets to improve algorithm development and accessibility.
The development of algorithms to help manage Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) has been hindered by the fragmentation of existing data sources. Different datasets often have different structures, making them hard to combine and analyze. To address this, researchers have created MetaboNet, a large, unified dataset that brings together data from multiple sources. This dataset includes information from over 3000 individuals, with continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump data, and is available for researchers to use, potentially leading to better and more generalizable diabetes management tools.
